So i have this wrecked 00 si that i've been parting out, and this weekend a guy came and pulled my dash to use in his car, and he said that the passenger airbag doesnt detach from the plastic cap that is part of the dash... but i thought it did, i just dont know how. Any insight would be very helpful as i want to get the airbag back so i can sell mine as a set

 

What plastic cap? the cover over the bag? i dont belive that comes off, its all one peice,
but it will come out of dash if thats your question.
