try retapping the block and use thread lock if the threads arent too bad. auto zonce sells drill bits with coil inserts that are supposed to repair stripped threads. ive actually seen a timing belt tentioner pully repaired with some putty steal stuff also. it get the bracket welded to the block

Yeah retap the threads. Or make bigger threads and use bigger bolts. those coil insert things sq is talking about might be worth checking out.. i personally know nothing of those.
Welding it wont work unless u get an aluminum bracket made cause the block is aluminum and the bracket is cast iron. a really strong epoxy could work but it would eventually break again.

best option is to retap for slightly bigger bolts

Sounds like you're going to have to pull the engine out or try and shift it enough to get a drill in there. Although I don't think you'll be able to shift it enough. What they are talking about are helicoils. You dill the hole a little bigger and tap in new threads and insert a spring looking thing that brings the threads back to the original size. This is the best thing you can do to fix your damaged threads, Good luck.

That happen to me on my ek hatch with a b18b.I snapped 2 of them, not fun man. This is how i did it, id un bolt the exhaust mani,ac bracket and tranny bracket, driver side mount leaving the top tranny mount and the rear mont and jacked the engine that gave me enough room to work but still it was a B!tch.I also used helicoil to use the factory bolts since u cant redrill the cast front the mount, i mean u can but u gonna go tru drill bits like nothing. Also it will help if u have a small drill.Good luck man.
