Default changed the tranny now fuel pump wont start?

i changed the clutch in my d16z6, but when i was dropping the tranny i broke the wire that read for the speedo, it a 3 pronged gray clip.i drove the car with the clip brokedn and just had no speedo, then i trided to just put the wires back on using small femal butt clips and then it just cranked and got no fuel. the fuel pump is not primming, has a code but does not flash when jumped with the wire across the brown and green/white wire, totally lost i sure someon knows this... thanks

go to your fuel pump main relay... look for the yellow/green wire yellow being the main color and green is the strip color... cut it and strip the coat off abit then connect it with a connect to you optional underdash fuse box power source... if it still doesnt work then get under your car and check to make sure you connected all your wiring correctly take off the ground from the battery wait 2 mins then plug it back on before you do the fuse box thing i covered in this posting

i just did what you told me to do and the fuel pump did not prime, i then jumped terminals 5 and 7 on the main fuel pump relay and read for voltage at the fuel pump power plug ( 3 pronged gray clip) and got 6.55 volts.... chiltins manual said to it should have 12.25..

i also checked the thermostat ground.. and got nothing.

put a ground from your transmission to the car body... something went wrong when you did the wiring again... disconnected everything and then reconnect

maybe not really sure but what i suggest if take off all the wiring, clean up the plug and then reconnect. put a ground from the transmission to the engine bay. disconnect the battery then reconnect. you must have a weak ground!!!

Clean and tighten the thermostat housing and transmission ground connections.
