Ex/Si usdm clock not stayin at right time.
ok so i got a mint ex/si usdm clock for my 94 cx hatch today because my old one stopped working. Well i put this clock in and i set it to the right time and and i went to turn off the car and i turned it back on and it reset itself..ive been told its maybe a fuse..but i want more input.. thanks
Have you checked fusees? Does it stay correct when running or just stop keeping time when the car is off?

just make sure that constant power to the clock is there. if the clock is not getting a constant 12v+ signal along with a 12v+ Accessory signal (when the key is turned over only) then maybe u got a wire pulled or perhaps cut under the dash by someone putting in a alarm or stereo or gauges or other stuff like that.

As you can see in this diagram, the WHT/BLU supplies the clock with constant power while the car is off to retain the time memory. You checked the fuse, but did you try a known good one? Should have an extra one in the under-dash fuse block.
Does your radio remember all its station presets when you turn the car off? Have you or a previous owner dicked around with the radio wiring?

good point my friend..im going to change the fuse...what should it say where the fuse is located? for example "L headlight". i dont use my radio..but all my settings on my head unit stays the same..
If it's not the fuse, then there must be a break in the wire between the radio (if you say it retains its memory) and the clock. If that's the case, then it should be easy to track down. If there's no break in the wire, then your clock is a dud. Any way you can try it out on a friend's car?
i only use the AUX...but my anttenna is not connected to my head unit..so i have no radio..BUT..my bass and treble etc settings stay the saved..
