Default H22: tryin to get on road

ok so my swap finally turns over and runs...but when i turn car on rpms shoot to 4k then drop to 500-700 idles fine but then gets rough bogs down and cuts off...can anyone help me

agreed. year, make, model, year model year of motor, block code, any other mods relating to the engine, electrical or ecu.

ok im runnin the p28 in a 93 civic ex with a jdm h22a...its all stock...except intake header...it has cel but its obd1 and i dont know how to read it

i did an H swap into a 92hatch, it did that once and a while.. i think it was due to a vaccume leak.. do you have any? and the leak was my intake manifold bolts were comming loose!! i found that H22's are grumpy as hell.
