Fuel pump For H22 Civic
Ok....I have had my H22 for a while now. But sometimes when I get on it My car seems to hesitate in high RPM's. It seems that it is running out of fuel or running lean.
Now my question is: Can a prelude fuel pump be used in a civic (bolt-in). Or should I just go ahead and buy aftermarket?
Thanks
Mark

it can i have one in my car right now but its a pain in the *** to do. also the pickup is located higher so you need to keep more gas in your tank. But it does work. But i highly recomend getting a aftermarket fuel pump.
why not get an OEM Type R fuel pump?
Flows more than your stock one, is a direct fit.
b18c5 and h22a have about the same fuel requirements (stock for stock). If you're pretty much stock, I'd say go for the Type R pump.
I'm going to.

if i were you i would just get a walboro, especially if you are do a bunch of mods, you don't want to run to lean, thats what i did, plus you are set if you ever wanna get into some burley **** as far as f.i.

No...no track times yet. I raced my friends turbo eclipse that has 300 whp (and runs high 13's) I was right there with him till 3rd when he pulled a little (but that was the first time I got to race. So I might have been able to do better) I was running completely stock, with open header. So I didnt feel bad at all.

I'm waiting on my Obd2 p13 to get to my house. I had my P5m done so that it would run without the Immobilizer, and its screwed (Iab's arent working...along with EGR....etc...) CEL is on constant and wont blink out codes. So its gone

Have you had any reliability issues with the axels, I heard that with that swap your axels can break easily due to the weight is this true at all or is it all fiction!
. Secondly, the lude axles are too long for the civic and created binding so people were using teg axles which didn't exactly match up properly. To remedy this problem, the current axle combo of teg outer shaft and accord intermediate shafts seem to be holding up well. And lastly some people were dropping the car too low and putting stress on the axles. Almost all these problems have been solved and if you are still worried bout axles, just get some driveshaftshop.com axles or something else with a lifetime warranty.
So far I only had one issue, and it was because I didnt put the prelude inner joint on the Teg. axle other than that I rag the **** out of my car, and havent had any problems.
And yes the prelude shifter will fit under the center console and you cant even notice its there (and you can even kep your cup holders)

WOW, how'd you keep your cupholders? Mine was already installed in my car, looks EXACTLY like y ours, but the cupholders are pretty well hacked. Did you move the shifter back at all?
hum...nice silver dx...i have a 97 dx coupe...we just lowered my motor in last night..jdm h22..i have one problem though..my damn t brackett mount in the back does not line up with the rear mount at all..its like 3 inches or so higher than the mount is....anyone got any tips on this...?? at first i attached the rear mount first but then when u raised the motor to line up the side mounts the damn intake manifold would smash into the firewall...so i undid it and now i have both side mounts attached...its a place racing kit...also the damn alternator is very close to the headlight...ghey ****...im sorta frustrated..that damn rear mount is pissing me off.i stayed up till like 4:30 last night working on the damn thing..maybe we can get it fixed tonight....i got my motor form hondamotorsonline and it was very clean...i thing he might have gave me the wrong tranny t bracket though...who knows...any help would be awesome..heres a pic of the motor.
lol I had someone stand on the motor to get the rear mount in. It was a pain in the ***. Had to get a big as metal pipe too just to shift the motor away from the firewall so it would touch.. You just have to take your time. What helped too is thta we took off the driver side mount and put it in the bracket first then jacked up the motor to meet it ...
