im trying real hard to sell my 00nbp typer car has a salvage title, only had to have the rad support changed witch is done, car is completely stripped down, windows removed for a perfect respray, body work is 80% done and primed,problem is i dont have time or interest in it anymore to finish it, and given the fact of the goodies in it, i think alot of guys think the asking price is too mutch. So im thinking of maybe selling some parts and going back to stock to lower my asking price. I have a set of absolutely mint canadian red seats for it front and back, what do they go for nowdays? i also have a set of oem side skirts and valences, i know they are hard to find. also have a ukdm custer in km/h, payd 500$ on ebay 3 years ago, whats it worth now? its got 5x 000kms on it. got a set of brand new oem checkered mats for it and also a mint oem typer trunk mat. id like to know the true value for all these parts, thanks guys.

am asking 9k canadian for it with all of those parts including spare b18c5 block and crank, new r compound tires, oem wheels have been professionaly redone to new specs, new brakes all around (brembo/hawk) ive got more than 16k invested in this car and cant get no interest at all locally. i really dont think im asking too mutch am i?

Regarding the value of the ITR parts, the For Sale and WTB threads are always a good reference.

As a reference from the For Sale thread, a mint canadian red rear seats is worth $1700 and that not include the front. I guess a pair of mint front could be worth around $2200 to $3000. Too bad you don't have a JDM front seats, because it could be sell for $4000+ now this days.

As you may see from the thread, it will be around $500 to $600 for the set. I may also guess the trunk mat run around $500 because both items are discontinued.

I don't know it's because the inflation or the U.S. economy recover faster than I think, anyhow it looks like a good time to sell.

 

^^your prices seem high. Theres no way jdm seats went and doubled in price since 3 years ago. JDM recaros should be 900-1200 depending on condition. I recall rear canadian seats going for 4-500. Not sure where you are getting your prices from, but if it's true I should start selling my stuff too LOL

good luck selling the car, however, people have a hard time purchasing cars that have a title, if the title is clean than its a different story. but because of the salvage title, its hurting your sale. regardless how much money is put in, the value of a salvaged vehicle is worst than black book value.

as for price for parts.

here's some prices that i sold parts for.
red front seats $1200
red rears seats $1200
checkered floor mats $120
checkered trunk mat $220

those are realistic prices, however, depending who is selling, they'll tend to inflate the price, some users will buy an item on here and post it up a couple of months with inflation price.

question to you is, how badly do you need money and are you willing to sit on items to sell at the price you want to list for.

well i want to get rid of the car asap, dont have room for it anoymore, so im thinking if i sell the goodies seperatly ill be able to sell the car at a cheaper price, i still have a set of stock black rear seats, just need to find a front set for cheap, then sell my red set for 2500$ and i can then sell the car 7500 instead of 9000, should help me move it.

 

If I had the money I would buy the lot for 9k. You just need to keep at it, it will sell. Times are tough right now so you need to be patient with it.

Those prices are what the sellers are "Asking for." I highly doubt somebody is going to pay 4000 for black Recaros or 600 for floor mats. Sh*t, for 4 grand, I could fly to Japan and pick out my own god damn black Recaros...........and people wonder why there "For Sale" items never sell.

my toughts too, thats why i asked what the parts are really worth. One things for sure i know the cdn seats are worth 2500$ for a complete set, espacially in the shape mine are... all this stuffs been sitting in my basement for 3 years... i have the bill for the car when i bought it from copart 3 years ago for 11 200$.... Was supposed to build a spfwd/outlaw/street car with this car, but the damm paint shop screwed me over and never did the job....i now hate the car, plus the laws over here changed since then, you get cought speeding here now, your ****t...i lost all interest. this is not a for sale thread, i only wanted to know the REAL market value of parts before i decide what to do. Still rather sell the wole car as a lot. If i start removing parts, it will become less attractive, unless someone wants it witout the parts to save $$$ then i will sell parts seperatly, thanks
