Best tranny swap?
Any ideas on the best tranny swap for my 95 ex coupe? Right now i have the stock 5 speed in it and itll be going out soon. Just curious if theres any ideas for a better stronger yet easy swap for another tranny possibly with lsd?
A T2T4 or M2B4 are LSD units. It probably wont be worth the extra money if your engine is stock. As mentioned, the M2F4 will be fun. But 5th gear on the M2F4 sucks! Dont expect stellar MPGs with the M2F4. I personally prefer the M2A4 JDM H22 transmission. It has a "longer" .787 5th gear, which is more tolerable for highway driving.
But whatever you do. DO NOT buy a trans from EBAY store christinesautoparts786. They wash labels off F22 transmissions and pass them off as H22 units.

Are those euro lsd trannys hard to come across? Also opinions on lightweight flywheels? I have Clutchmaster stg 3 carbon/kevlar clutch to pair with just curious on how much of a difference itll make losing twenty or so pounds of rotational mass???
Euro R LSD is a T2W4 not a T2T4..... differences being the gear ratio's and the LSD in the T2W4 is a Torque Sensing Hellical unit as opposed to a Viscous type unit in the T2T4.
I've noticed in Helms that internal clearance specs vary on H series compatible trannys. I have an M2A4 I'm planning to swap into a 5th Gen Prelude. I want to open it up to install an LSD. While I'm there I might just as well check clearances, synchros etc. but I'm not sure where to find the clearance specs for a JDM tranny. Also, if I need to replace parts a cross over compatibility reference would be helpful.
