Your alternator is failing. Check its output with a voltage meter.

Sounds like your alternator to me. Be sure to check all your grounds though, that might be the problem.

Yea Autozone can test both alternators and batteries for free, a good idea before you spend money on anything

@JDMZACH hey i moved to kentucky then moved back to washington state. i lived in mayfield. well for 2 months then moved back because it was to damn hot. so a new problem now happened. so it will stay off for a while. but if im at a stop and i start to go and i "romp" on it. the batt light stays on and it wont go off. but if i press the clutch in and rev it up. it will flicker on and off. or if im driving and say going 50MPH and i shift down to 3rd it will kinda flicker on and off. and when im saying flicker...the light will stay on but it will dim like its almost off but you can still see the light.

i did with the test when i tested my battery. or am i doing this wrong? i looked all over the net how to test my alternator and all i found was when your testing your battery with the car off it will read 12.+amps.so i start the car and they said if the amps of the battery wont go up then your alternator is not good.which my went up to 14.somthing.so am i doing this wrong?? i know these are is questions but i never needed to deal with this befor thanks again
