Default First trip to the strip with new set-up

Set-up:
2.l ls/v with stock gsr head
t3/t4 57trim 63AR
full-race traction bars
crap street tires
313hp @ 13psi

Best time slip:
2.3458 ----60ft
6.4473 ----330ft
9.4116 ----1/8et
86.91 ----1/8mph
11.8954 ----1000et
99.21 ----1000mph
13.9505 ----1/4et
110.92 ----1/4mph

I have s300 for management, but i dont have my 2-step or boost by gear set up yet. I would get crazy wheelhop launching and in 2nd gear. This pass, i really slipped the clutch and didnt floor the throttle while in 1st and 2nd gear. I know i need slicks, i just wanted to see what the car did in street trim. Any suggestions on getting the times down? I also know i need seat time.

Thanks

I tried to go to the drag strip on street tires a couple times and it was pointless I was spinning down the whole track. I bought a used pair of slicks and went back to the track and now I'll never go on street tires ever again.lol

i agree on the tires comments. Im thinking of getting some 225/50/15 MH drag radials and some 24.5" mh slicks.

just get the slicks.
it's ****ing retarded to go to the track without.
slicks were one of the first things i bought, because i wouldn't run without em.

slicks will improve your times for sure.If you go the track with normal tires you`ll probably only destroy them and woun`t see what your car can do exactly

I dropped my ET by almost a second going from drag radials to 22" slicks on my shitty little basic turbo setup last year. Get some slicks

If youre set on running street tires get some Bias Ply street strip tires. if not get some slicks and you will see a major improvment
