does any one know how to make this for holding the hood up?

 

pretty sure its the shocks that hold your trunk up....not sure if its the exact same one but yah....its that thing

 

i wanana do this because for the stock holder for the hood makes my hood bend a little n doesn't make it look good when i got to hood up....

 

I believe jamex made a kit for that a while back, before they went out of business.

Does not look to hard, just buy 2 of those shocks for the trunk and fiddle with them. You will eventually get it to work.

 

actually i really like their springs, i have them on my car and the ride isn't bad at all. they weren't that bad of a company. they were above apc and all those company's.

 

Jamex wasn't bad, they were like a budget neuspeed. Cheap german **** for your japanese car.

 

You can get those hood shocks on this site. I know its all in german but you can email them and they will get back to you. I have dealt with them. they are pretty friendly.

apc wont go under.. they are owned by pepboys... you dont like them.. dont go to pep boys

 

just get the ones from the 96+ v6 accords they have them. I'm also thinking about this mod... cheap and looks good too

If you open up that page and look in the menu bar on the left, click on "PRODUKTE". Then click on "ACCESSOIRES". Go down about 75-80% of the page and you will see them there. With the current exchange rate, they only cost $39!!!!! I think shipping is where you would get screwed though.

yea thats wat i am scared of too..i don't wanana mess up my c/f hood...but don't yaa think while closein the hood the c/f hood migh bend alot n might get mess up since the stock hood are kinda stiffer?

 

acually its not converted on that site ...i converted it ...and it comes to 19 US dollars

Actually, the currency symbol is in Euros, so I converted it as 1 Dollar = .86 Euros which would be 40 Euros = $46, if it were DM it would be around $20.

my camaros hood has struts like that i would try and use them off a 84-92 camaro or firebird...make some sort of brakets to make it fit on ur hood cant be hard to make
