Get hood locks if you're worried about how they look. Hood locks are flat and can be found in black, so they don't draw much attention. If I end up with another hood (other than stock) I'm just going to put 4 hood locks on it so I can lift it off when I work on the car.

That is completely wrong. Hood locks actually lock, and that is a picture of them. Completely different animals.

Re: These hood pinds look alright? (Grip Driver)
Ok....... what I meant was they both do the same thing.
Yea one can say it locks one's an accutal pin yet they both in the end result do the same thing, for the same purpose.
His post was "hood pins VS hood locks"
I thought that guy's question was point towards two different functions.
Is one better than the other, depends on how each were made, just because one locks doesn't mean at 110mph it's gonna stay.
Get it? Got it? Good.

OK, I don't want to ignite a bicker session but I asked what hood locks LOOKED like vs hood pins, not whether or not they "did the same thing" which they obviously don't just by the name... one locks one doesn't... and the lock I think is more for security rather than holding the hood better at 110mph... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah they both keep your hood shut but they definitely serve different functions... Thanks to those who enlightened me to the world of hood locks
