Is this motor going to be stock internals? are you going to do it the correct way (arp rod bolts, head studs, vtec conversion kit, etc.)? Personally i'd rather build a b20vtec set up for the extra tq

Yeah me and my friend just did a Ls Vtec in his 92 Da. i have a 96 Dc and i going start get my conversion stuff but i find alot of stuff for the B20 Vtec conversion. I want to do a full rebuild w turbo i was just wondering which was better. What is is the benifit of the B20 conversion over the Ls coversion?

If you plan on boosting it then I would stick to the 1.8. How much boost are you wanting to run?

yeah if you're going to boost it do not boost the b20, it has weaker cylinder walls than the 1.8

if you have an ls, just spend the money boosting it. forget lsv and more rpms, just shortens engine life. boost it stock and enjoy. spend your cash on the turbo, cooling and exhaust
