Default 3 Wire coils for C.O.P.

Well I am looking for some coils that I can use with the GSR head for the COP setup. However it need to be those with built in igniters or 3 wires.

I have looked and searched but still came up nil. Any leads and or Pics? I think my current setup is just old and instead of replacing it I would like to just upgrade in the process..

Just curious, but why would it need to have built in ignitors? Don't want to run an external one?

I've personally never seen a 3 wire, but I have seen 2 and 4

Factory K series coils will work with a plate to mount them to.

Really? What coils are the TD Autoworks Civic using? I heard the Okada Coils are pretty good...

Part of the problem with an inductive setup at high power, you're only going to get so much spark energy. If you burned the coils out, the dwell settings were wrong.

i dont think dwell is adjustable with electromotive. you either run a waste spark set up with their dfu with the gm coils or the mercruiser coils if you want to run a coil per plug but you still have to use plug wires.

i have 4 of the mercruiser coils sitting around if you want to give those a shot

I know a few people have used GM LSx Coils, I think they die out around 700hp.... I plan on using a set of K Series Coils with my EPM and a tweak to get the spark needed for about 800-850whp...

True.
I got best results with S2000 coils. No misfires on one application running upwards of 42psi on E85. I also tried the K coils and they were not as strong for some reason.

I have had the opposite results, the RSX coils were stronger, and with a boost a spark had enough spark energy for 35-40 psi range.

How long are they? The honda j32 motors use a 3 wire coil with ignitor in them. I have plenty of them laying around if you want to give it a try.

I do think the 300m coils will work but I am not sure if it will clear the hood if Install them directly on top.
