Need help asap!!!
I drive an 89 hatch 1.5 dpfi. I switched my bigger battery to a smaller one because the 1 I had was way to big for my little car. I started the car & tried to drive it & the car died so I pushed it back home & switched batteries back. Then my main relay started buzzin like crazy & I checked my ecu the light was a solid light so I checked all grounds & cleaned up all my battery connections & it made my relay stop buzzin. I started the car & once it started I revved it a few times then it died & then check engine light came on but no blinks from the ecu. Now my check engine light stays on the ecu dont blink at all & it seems like the dizzy isnt puttin out spark. I can hear my fuel pump runnin. I checked all fuses & they all seem good. Only other thing I did was change my radiator fan. my ecu dont even blink once when u first turn the ignition over & i dont how to check the voltage of the main relay because I dont kno wut wires go2 wut....
Somebody help I need this car runnin because I goto college

I have a book for a 92-95 civic but it dont say anything bout my prob & if i had the money to buy a book for the 88-91 I woulda done that by now bc first thing I do when I getta car is buy a book
Ill check em all again & double check the battery I was using to make sure it was in ryte... I put a different ecu in the car that came out of a civic of the same year & it didnt wanna start still. I could hear my fuel pump tho
wel first off it hard enought to understand a electric circuit and even harder if u have nothing to refer to. ur can be a million things wrong i could sit here and explain all day wat it could be. but lucky for u i got a book ok main relay has 7 wires that are in it. a yellow, green-black/ blue-white/ yellow-black/ black/ yellow-white/ black-yellow. the yellow goes to ur fuel pump. green-black go to ur pgm f1 control unit aka(ecu). blue-white goes to the 1 fuse idk wat it is(*power*).yellow-black gose to the ecu and it split and gose to a resitor for the injectors(*iam guess it is a gound control for ur injectors*). black is *ground*. yellow-white gose to the fuse for the ecu(*power*). black-yellow goes to fuse 3(*power*)
I appreciate the help but i was reading some furoms ear;ier & I checked all fuses 7 they was all good I changed my dizzy coil & My check engine light came on & the relay started buzzin. I checked all grounds & found the thermo ground was losse so I relocated it to a diff spot on the thermo housing, cleaned my valvcover ground with all other grounds & I put my battery in it & it started right up & I drove it & ragged it a little bit with no probs... The turd even did a first gear burnout & chirped 2nd & has never done that b4 so cleaning & checking all my grounds helped out tremendously...
Thanks everybody Now I can drive myself to college & not be late everyday
