Default OBD2b 16y8 to ODB1 D15B

Hi everyone, new to the forums but have creeping for quite a while, anyways I am a licenced Technician and have been working at Honda for the last 4.5 yrs. I am by far not new to honda's but am a bit of a "minor noob" when it comes to swaps. I mostly FIX Honda's, don't really swap engines at work.
Anyways heres my question:
I have a 2000 Civic Si (canadian d16y8) that has close to 320,000 kms, it's a bit tired. I would like to swap in an obd1 d15b for simplicity and cost, if I can find a decent d16y8 I would but that is not the case.

I would like to keep my obd2b p2p ecu so I want to know if anyone has done this before and what were the results:

obd1 d15b engine

would swap my:
-complete intake
-exhaust
-knock sensor
-alternator
-distributor conversion harness, obd2b to obd1 plug
-bypass ckf

Who has done this and what were the results?
How well will it run off my p2p, or should i just convert obd2b to obd1 and use a p08 or p28?

PLease keep this clean, I know it's a weak engine but I do not have the funds for a B-series swap.

Thanks everyone

Why not get a OBD2 D15B vtec then? They are the same cost as the OBD1 and less headache.
