I'm looking at getting a 98 honda civic, guy tells me the drivers side window works but it goes up crooked and needs to be guided up, will it need a new regulator or is there a clip or screw that may have fallen out? Trying to do my research before I buy someone elses problems.

 

I guess this is common with hondas. I would take out the panel and see if you can test it so you can see what is really going on in there.

 

i doubt you need a regulator, probably just a guide. if it jumps or gets hung up when you guide it up then i would say its a regulator. just my 2 cents. good luck
