you need the two wires to run vtec, the oil pressure and vtec solenoid wires to be exact. i have mine run straight to my ecu. will take a picture if needed but it should be pretty straight forward. your wires will need to be about 3 feet in order to not get snagged on the carpet and still be able to be tucked underneath the carpeting on the passenger side of the car.

If you're running a obd1 ecu like a p28 then vtec solenoid gets wired to A4 and vtec pressure switch gets wired to D6 hope this helps sorry no pics right now

Which ECU are you using, if you are using an OBD2 ECU for the Y8 you will need to run wiring for the knock sensor as well.

OBD1

OBD2

im ordering an OBD1 ECU and OBD2->1 conversion harness from phearable.net. thanks for the pics but the diagram says for b-series, im not sure if its the same or not but im building a D16Z6.... and ive already done the 3-wire to 2-wire plug on the engine harness, and im having someone else do the ecu plug before i break something.
