FORGET DC's, I have them in my car now, I don't know what the previous owner did to them, but looks like someone took a hammer to the underside of the headers. I would hope there is a brand that won't fully collapse and look like **** like mine. Just my personal opinion. Anyone else?

Hmm I've had DC's on my car for awhile now no cracks yet and the ceramic coating is holding up well. It all depends on how you take care of your vehicle. And as for the bottom of your header looking like someone took a hammer to it, that's from having your car way too low and not giving a **** about how you drive like not swerving for potholes, manhole covers, etc. Any header will dent on the bottom if your car is slammed and you're dragging your exhaust all over town.

a lot of people are running dcs on the SOHCs but you should go with bisi and if you want them to stay nice and look good then get a stainless steel instead of a ceramic

good brand header? anything that has a smooth internal path (good quality welds and decent merges) and is, of course, tubular.

best brand header would be the hand built custom units - SMSP, Bisimoto, etc.

Maybe, the car was lowered and it would hit the bottom over bumps. This happens to me at times at my apartment complex. I have checked and everything looks good.

DC is caca.....the only thing its good for is CARB plate. Cuz all the other header's arent street legal. I would never buy a DC header new. Not worth the money. Ive bought a couple used like for 70 bux. To me thats worth it but for a MSRP of 250+ i rather get the RMF header. And keep my oem in case i ever get popped.

I have been really happy with my Comptech 4 to 1 header, no problems on a lowered civic.
