I got a 200 ek coupe with a obd 1 b16 with obd 2b to obd 1 conversion harness. Keeps throwing code 6 which is coolant temp sensor but I replaced it and still does it and all the wiring is fine and so is the sensor any help or ideas.

 

you need to ohm out the wiring first to check for shorts. ground out your negative to the frame and probe for the coolant temp plug.
