Default Where to find a good "true" 3'' exhaust for GE

I just recently swapped shells -

Going from a integra gsr to a EG hatch.
I need at LEAST a 3'' exhaust.. looking for a pretty much bolt on kit, trying to find something that sounds nice and deep, not too loud, and ya, i wanna be a ricer and have a jdm slant on my exhaust..

any ideas.?

thermal makes a 3in bolt on.

im guessing by your name youre all motor.. what have you done that would need any bigger than 2.5in piping? just curious because you probably would lose power from the reduced backpressure unless you have a seriously built engine.

That is what i was thinking too. arn't most header collectors only 2.25 or 2.5in diameter anyways?

Unless you care about gas mileage, which i don't, you never want backpressure.
You want more velocity flow..
Stock b16's have gained WAY more power with a 3'' exhaust vs a 2.5'' exhaust.

I have a maxed out PRO2ed b20vtec..
Search and study, you'll find a 3'' exhaust is more beneficial then a 2.5''

Headers that actually "make power" are 2.5++ , my hytech was 2.75'', smsp goes up to 3''.

I have a 2.75'' collector on my RMF.

My B18C picked up 25hp going from an RSR 2.25" catback to a 3" Vibrant. No joke. Dyno'd at the wheels 160hp with a stock LS Vtec, after I built up the B18C with some potent goodies, I put in the built GSR, and it only did 170, and I was pissed! The dyno guys suggested 3" piping, so I put on the Vibrant 3" and it made 195! I would imagine most people wouldn't need a 3" but some of us do....so my suggestion is Vibrant, ftw.
