it is NOT possible to run any B-series VTEC cams in a B-Series non-vtec motor.
but B-series VTEC cams ARE interchangeable.

 

but wouldn't be kinda nice to have vtec cams on a Ls motor though? lol

 

well you can put a VTEC head on the LS block. THEN you can use the b16/GSR cams

The heads are "completely" different!

Vtec cams have 2 sets of lobes, a LS head doesn't even have provisions for them. Add vtec cams to an LS does not make it a vtec engine!

 

i know that but i would make some improvement.
some how ls/vtec isn't the way to go for me.

 

You cant make an improvement with vtec cams in a LS block, They just wont work.

Want Vtec with a LS, go with a Vtec head.

Dotn want to swap heads, they get some big lumpy cams for the LS head and a good intake manifold and you will ahead of the game.
