Default Hondata boost solenoid question

Never really asked my tuner about this question i had. How exactly do i change my boost up or down? Is it just as simple as plugin in cable and bringing up Smanger on laptop and its a setting i go to and im done or even can look at how it is set to now?

Also with boost by gear can i just change it from say 8psi to 9 by simple click? Changing the boost by gear will not effect my tune will it as long as i dont go above psi tuned on?

I use Neptune, but I believe Hondata is similar - launch the program, make the changes to the boost settings and upload the new map. Should be all you need to do if it was tuned to the highest boost level you are using.

Yeah, just go into Smanager, parameters, boost control, and you can change either the desired boost or set a duty cycle, it depends on how it is set up. You will be fine as long as you keep it at or below the highest boost level it was tuned for.
