Default stopping distance

anyone know the (stock) stopping distances of 96-00 civics? pref. the dx coupe (what i have). the specs listed on edmunds.com is 148ft for the dx coupe, and 140ft for the ex coupe. these seem awfully short to me, considering most cars average in the 170-200ft area.

Dont know for the DX coupe, but Sport Compact Car tested the 99-00 Si brakes.
60-0mph: 137ft
Changing out the shitty stock tires alone should help that number. The Dx should be similar, the rear drums shouldnt make a huge difference. *I think* disc in the back are more to control fade then stopping distance (If I assume wrong, someone please correct me )

Rear disks do make a difference. Every time I get on my car after driving my friend's hatch with GSR rear brakes I feel like im gonna crash.

If your car is an HX, arent the front brakes smaller than the GSR too though?

I did read, just not very thoroughly!!

I was thinking GSR brakes all around. No need to get defensive dude.
