Default question on distributors... non obd vs obd..

well we did an b16a2 swap on a freinds car, he has a 94 ex, we used his a2 dizzy and its obd2. But hes running an obd1 computer. Everything works fine. All we did was rewired it. So what I am wondering is will the 94 ex dizzy work on non obd if we rewire it? I mean obd2 worked on obd1, so maybe obd1 will work on non obd. Maybe I am way off, but we have a non obd dizzy but its easier with the obd if all we have to do is rewire...

No, an OBD1 or OBD2 will not work on a OBD0 car.
It has to do with the number of pulses per revolution on some sensors inside the distributor.
I tried a 93 Civic EX distributor on my CRX, it just did not work at all.
