tire is rubbing, why and what to do?
I have been hearing a strange clanking noise coming from the drivers side rear tire when I encounter a pothole, So i get my car on a lift and look. So I see the tire has rubbed the inside of the whel well enought to leave two marks. Is the rear sus movable by hand up and down when on a lift? I'm not talking 2 or more inches but a little yes both sides. what would be the reason whay the tire is rubbing the well? is there anything I could do?
And for those who are thinking I'm a fat bastard, No stout but not fat.
Toss some ideas so I could look, thanks.

you can roll your inner fender lip if you want.
Or you can just leave it and I'm sure it will cure itself after a while
To roll your rear fender lip, take a baseball bat or broom handle (thingy), stick the thingy between the tire and the rear fender lip at the furthest rear section of the fender, slowly roll the car forwards as you apply pressure with the thing on the fender (it's a good idea to put your other hand on the fender so it does not distort as you do this), the tire should move the thingy along the whole rear fender lip resulting in an even "bend" of the fender lip.
Caution: do it at your own risk. Personally I would not do it. Hope that helped

on my koni yellows, i'll only rub when i hit a major dip in the freeway, or big ***
pothole, or doing a sharp turn super fast...or during the sharp turn hitting a bump
haha...but an extreme improvement over my blown shocks.
my drop is H & R sports with 205/50/15 azenis on stock rims.
yes..the thing was..it was rubbing even worse with 205/55/15 tires (of course)
and my car was more slammed before the springs cuz it had no name brand
adjustable coils..with one side of the treaded body coil thing broken so it was like
more than two inches slammed.
the rubbed off part from your wheel well is JUNIOR compared to mines.
yes it rubbed in the same spot.
