how often to replace PCV valve?
my accord is at 190k miles right now and ive changed it at around 120k miles. just curious when i should change it out. dont want any seals leaking on me.
every 100 thousand should be fine. or even 60,000 miles if youre real cautious about your car. its not an expensive part anyway, but if you have emission laws to worry about then replace it before you get a smog check. that usually happens before those miles come up if you have emission laws

HonBeer, while you may be right, a new PCV valve is about $3 and a new grommett is $1...
really worth the trouble for that price?
to the OP, if in doubt just change it.. its so cheap so why not
changed mine and help solve some sludging issues i was having

a PCV valve is a very simple device.. there really is no need to get OEM...
I get Purolator PCV valves for $3 at advance auto parts... just go to your nearest parts place and pick one up.. Remember to change the gromett when you change the valve

and the pcv valves are not oem. i just get them from auto zone. i dont even know what the brand is but i think its the only pcv valve they have for a car. theres not a real big selection on brands of those that i am aware of. maybe they have a rebate on them too
