Default short track times?

so last year i was running all summer long, and my short track just wasnt matching up for some reason. my best time was 11.03@135 with a 1.79 60' with around 450hp.

come to find out recently i was on a LS ring gear lol this could be the reason for sorry short track times????

i was under the impression i had a gsr s80 tranny in the car that i paid for well that has been proven wrong, and would like to hear what you guys think the differance just in the gearing might be

Default Re: short track times?

If anything I would think the slightly longer gearing would help with traction in 1st gear, thats why alot of people switch to the longer aftermarket 3.0x 1st gear. The difference is not much, use a gear calculator...

Do you have a "drag" suspension? Traction Bars? Good Alignment? That is what is going to throw your short track times off, not slightly longer gearing.
