Trap Speed
I noticed when looking at the trap speeds from mir that the speedfactory car was trapping like 180-190mph "**** memory" and the car in the finals with em was trapping like 160 yet getting within a tenth of the same times. My question is how does this happen? is he ripping of the line much faster due to rwd or what?
cliffs:180vs160 trap speed with same time?

Yes, rwd and awd have better short track times over fwd. FWD Honda engines rpm and power band show up halfway down the track when it can be used till the end. An example would be a 1000 whp fwd Honda may have 400whp 1st gear, 500whp+ 2nd gear, 600whp+ 3rd gear, then full power 4th gear. On top of naturally accelerating faster at higher speeds more power is applied towards the end of the track.
Look at 60', 330' and 1/8th mile times. That tells the story
Just for reference, my buddy with a turbo v8 '73 skyline had to have a 5.18 1/8th mile to run an 8.0x and look at speedfactory's 1/8th on the 8.08 pass, it was a 5.48. That's 3 tenths that they are picking up on the back end to run the same time TEC FTW! Haha
