Anyone use brembo blanks and axxis deluxe pads?
Was wondering if anyone runs this setup? (Brembo Blanks & Axxis Deluxe Pads) as I'm going to be installing it this coming thursday as my stock rotors are warped and pads almost shot. If anyone does let me know how they stop i went with this setup as i got rotors and pads for $98.00 shipped to my door cant beat that.
I have brembo blanks with Axxis Ultimates in the back and hawk pads upfront. The Axxis produce hardly any break dust and stop pretty well and seems alot of people on here had good things to say bout them aswell. G/l man
hey thanks for info, I can't find any info on how to bed the pads in tho, i was going to do some 45mph to 15mph semi hard braking, then move up to 60mph to 20 mph braking 4x on each then drive around to cool them down.
update today installed the brembo blanks and axxis pads, bed the pads in going 45-5mph then 60-5mph then drove 10min to cool, the pads got some nice bite which im sure will get better as they are used more. Paid $98 for rotors and pads from HT sponser, $5 for brake cleaner, $6 for prestone DOT 3 fluid. I would recommend ths setup for anyone with a daily driver that wants a better then stock setup.
For anyone wanting to install brakes i followed these simple steps, Found here:https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/diy-brake-rotor-repalcement-1938057/
