99 Civic SI cruise control/idle problem
I've been going nuts with my car lately. It's a 99 Civic SI with a B18C motor swap in it. It had a slight smoke problem when I revved it up and I chocked it up to not having a PCV valve on it. So I ordered the correct hoses thru an Acura dealer and set the PCV valve up. While I was doing this, I unplugged the vacuum line for the cruise control and didn't realize it until I was on the highway and tried to set it and nothing. Well it's also been throwing a code for the 02 sensor so I changed that last weekend. I also plugged the vacuum line back up and now the idle jumps from around 1000 down to almost nothing. Just bounces up and drops down and eventually if I just let it sit there and do that, it will die. If I unplug the vacuum line, it idles normally. Plugged up, the cruise works fine. Everything works fine and it runs great, it just doesn't idle properly. Before I put the PCV valve on it idled too high. Once I put one on it, it brought the idle down but hooking the cruise control up causes it to stumble like it's starving for air or something.
Could it be the wrong PCV valve? Should I just leave this vacuum hole open? I should mention that its plugged into the nipple on the back of the intake close to the drivers side. If you need pics, I'll take some and post them. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

you could have plugged it in the wrong place on the manifold. i know cruise is great to have but if it all works great with that line unplugged the i would leave it unplugged.
I looked at the 99 "auto cruise" diagram on Majestic Honda and it shows it as plugging into that location. I checked the actuator vent and its not clogged. The check valve is working in the line so it's not that. All the lines are clear. It worked before I had a pcv valve on it. It had a piece of hose going from the intake to the breather chamber. When I put the pcv valve on it, the idle came down and it quit smoking at high rpm. I pulled the iacv off and looked at it. I didn't take the hoses off, but the screen looked clean on it. Does it still need disassembly and cleaning? If it helps, I learned that this is a B18C5 Type-R motor. I'm fairly new to Honda's but not to mechanic work.
