I don't have it. But if I decided I really had to have it, I'd get the MSD Digital 6

I had a 6AL box short out on me on the way to the track. Called up MSD customer support and they took care of it. All i had to do was send in the blown box and they sent it back all fixed the same week. Very good service

Anyone running these aftermarket ignitions what kinda power are you making and did the swap from stock to aftermarket really make any difference? Any info is appreciated.

The stock ignition system is probably just fine to about 15psi of boost... You don't really need more spark until you start "blowing it out" from dense mixture....

Granted this is an oversimplification and there are many factors involved...

I have used MSD on most of my cars. I had a Superbee with the 6AL and MSD dist, 5.0 mustang with the 6AL, and a 3rd gen RX-7 with the MSD digital-6. All of the cars had more crisp throttle response on the low end as well as power on the low end. All benifited from cleaner plugs and smoother idles. Most stock ignition systems will do fine unless you start really pushing some air into the motor. MY 90 civic HB is getting an MSD 6AL because it runs rich at idle and fouls plugs. It has a B18B and the ecu in there runs things a little rich. If it was stock I would leave it alone. But for now I wil get the 6AL...can't afford a hondata yet.
