Default Ticking skunk2 valvetrain. please help

A while ago I did a 4th gear pull on the highway. After the pull I noticed a ticking in my head area. My oil level was kind of low the following morning when I checked after noticing the ticking. I have pro 1 cams, pro springs, retainers, and valves. Fresh head build. Car is tuned with Neptune eprom. Recently ajusted valves to .006 in and .007 ex and the ticking is still there. It sounds like it's just in either the 1 or 2 cylinder but i could be wrong. It doesn't get any quieter after the car gets warmer. Not sure what a piston and valve hitting sounds like, but it does sound like something may be touching. If that makes sense. Cams I beleive were set to 0 before the tune. Camn anyone offer any helpful suggestions to what the prob may be. thanks

If you did a valve adjustment after it happened and it didn't help, it's time to take the head off and check it.

A minor melted piston? I highly doubt that's his issue. Take a video clip and we'll be able to better assist you..

Before I take the head off, I'll do a compression test. Thanks for the suggestion guys.

Do a leak down test instead

If I had to guess.... I'd say bent valve, but that's just a guess.

thanks for the uggestions. I'll check them in order of easiness. Someone also mentioned to check valve lash, so I'll check all those out until I find the problem. I forgot to mention that I have the Bosch 1000's. Someone said they could tick pretty loud.

I would assume it would be a bent valve, specially since it happen after a pull. I'd adjust the valve lash, and see if that fixes it, if not do a leak down and go from there.
