Default Should i buy this?

Hi,

I'm new to this site and looking to get into something new. That being said, I want to buy a shell and build it. I found this on craigslist http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1675359102.html

Do you think that I should buy this? What engine would you recommend? Would a b16a work? Thank you for the help!

the no title issue seems a little too shady for me, if you decide you want it, run the vin and make sure it's not stolen. you could always do a title search in the future as long as you have a bill of sale with the vin on it. would be a good start for a track car, or if titled a nice street project

as far as the engine, it really depends on what your planning on doing with the car. yes a b16 will work, been done a million times. RESEARCH

Yeah it's going to be a track only car. Sooo, I am thinking im going to go with a more powerfull engine. I know right now I don't know a whole lot about these cars but I am willing to learn. I picked up a few books yesterday to start reading. Now about the engine, What in your guys opinion is going to give me the most bang for my buck? Thinking about ordering a JDM (series?) engine off of ebay, Has anyone had any expirerence with these? Thanks alot for your help and im going to keep on researching.

jdm is japanese domestic market. usually higher hp, tq, and compression.
like usdm b16a2 - 160 hp 111 tq and 10.1 compresseion
then JDM b16a - 170 hp 116 tq and 10.4.

id imagine its the same for any b,h,k,f series engine.

if you got enough money drop in a k and run the track down.

Make sure you at least get all of his info \lic number, address, phone number. everything. If the cops come your way, you want to point them in the right direction.
