Hi all need some help with my TPS install on my 88 dx hatch. Purchased a replacement TPS from OMNI. I've followed the directions to a tee but can't get the volts to read lower then .61 and it needs to be at .5. This is with the engine off and key in the on position. Just to clarify I'm putting the black lead on a bolt to ground and the red lead in the middle wire. I've not mounted the throttle body back in the car just plugged in the TPS and have the throttle body resting on the valve cover. No other sensors are plugged in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
