? about 92-95 knuckle and 99-00 knuckle
ok I traded my old civic for a 99 si. the guy I got it from used a 92-95 ex knuckle on the right side and the wheel looks back futher then the left side. I need to know if they have different part numbers. so I can see if thats why it is pushed back so dose any one know if the 92-95 civic knuckle and the 99-00 civic knuckle are different. if there the same i may just need a control arm
i seen the old knuckle and the bearing was **** up and he said he didnt have 70bucks to get one. he had a 92-95 kunckle so he put it on is what he said. just need to fine out if there the same. car drives great just the one wheel looks back alittle cant tell from looking at it if the knuckles are different.
thats not so bad then, I would get an alignment/check and if they can get the alignment correct or if already straight maybe its just your eyes sometimes if you look at something enough on your car you will think somethings wrong when its really ok. post some pics of each side maybe someone can tell
from what some one else told me is that on the 92-95 knuckle the bottom ball joint is bushed back further then the 96-00 knukcle and if thats so then it would move it back alittle so im going to put the 99 si one on my buddys 94 ex and see if it moves it on his i have to take it off for bearing so why not
92-00 upper control arms are universal...99-00 Si/Sir LCA's are beefier and longer. 92-95 knucles will fit but may not have the pre-tapped holes for ABS. Your setup should be fine but if you can get the proper stuff on there do it. Did this guy change the LCA too?
