im looking at getting a good performance motor, i was originally thinking spoon, but thats just too expensive, so i decided to start looking at some b16a motors, does anyone have any suggestions on a good motor thats gonna be reliable enough and not need much internal work right off the bat but still puts you into your seat, also one that would preferably accept a 6-spd manual, id like to stay away from k-series motors, but im open to anything =P please Pm

 

a sohc turbo is always good cheap power, i dont think you are gonna get a 6 speed unless you go with a k20 or awd wagon,

so i would have to get a k-series motor what mounts would i use for the motor in my 91, like what year motor should i get for best fit? or are they all pretty much the same?

 

what exactly is the sr20det? dont think iv heard that, the k-series motor dosent seem to have enough top end
