4gen prelude drag intercooler question

Default 4gen prelude drag intercooler question

come on post pics on the 4gen drag intercoolers. did u have to relocate your power steering cooler? does the elbow for the upper intercooler go behind the bumper support? post pics all of them. like where your horn is from lookin down. between your bumper and your ac condesor (lookin down) thanks.

On the 4th gen prelude with a drag intercooler you have to remove the front bumper support and cut the entire inside section of it out. I used a concrete cutting saw with a metal blade. It's a PITA if you don't have the right tools. A sawz-all takes forever to do the job.

You have to remove the powersteering cooler mounting bolts, bend the brackets back, wire it in place. Horn and bracket has to be bent out of the way.

Have fun! I've done it on two different preludes, not fun.

its different intercooler than the 3rd gen kit for newer preludes? my friends upper pipe fits right behind the support. with my luck it willnt so whatever. get pics guys.

Hmm, I don't know. For the Gen 2, you cut the support up to make way for the piping, not really the intercooler. If the Gen 4 piping setup is different, you may not have to cut the support.

drag what douches.. these are supposed to be bolt on kits. lol oh well maybe if it ever gets here....
