Default New 17" wheels/tires

Hey,
I was finally getting 17" tires/wheels. I was just wondering if its likely they are going to rub? The person who is selling them had them on a old corolla and were fine. The tire size is 205/40r17. civic is 2000 dx-g
Also would I have to get the speedometer reset?
Thanks

seems like everyone has different opinions about the perfect rim size XD
i thought 16" were for racing.
17" for the best look and 18 were a bit too big.

When I was running 17" BBS RCs with Pirelli's Nero M+S tires, I found that my car would track any groves that were in the road. If you have perfectly paved streets where you live, you shouldn't encounter this issue. I am now on 16" Enkei RPF1s, they are so much better in terms of handling. If you are doing it for looks, then go for it.
