Ever since I got the engine swap I've had this strange problem. When I accelerate hard the car misfires. When I cruise at normal speed, let off the gas a little, then accelerate a little the car boggs down as if it wants to die. I can barely go past half a tank of gas before I need to fill up. I can usually get to three quarters but that's risking a lot. I never had this problem before the swap. I have a Walbro GSS343 fuel pump installed. The car is tuned. I believe the fuel pressure is sitting around 33psi; need to verify that number.

 

you could have a series of problems, timings off, bad distributor and/or wires, sparkplugs or ecu could be faulty.

 

another issue, ive sen this on a friends car, and i say this becaus you mentioned the half tank issue, the walbro may not be properly mounted. aka, it could be aiming up, and the sock may not be compleyelt at the mottom, creating air pockets in the fuel line which could cause your bog, at cruise it may supply enough fuel, but when you demand more fuel when getting on it, the needed fuel may not be there, assuming its boosted, and done right, what does your wideband show? is it going real lean when you experience this bogging?

 

i think that fuel pressuer need to go higher bro if it boggs like that means there isnt a sufucant amount of fuel going. but then you said it sucks up to much gas. that could be spark dizzy cap and rotor. meny things check it out bro.
