blown CV sound from transmission
Yes, I have searched all four combinations: transmission & tranny, click & clunk
Car is a 93 LS manual
About a week ago I made a right turn onto the freeway. As I straightened out the wheels, the familiar axle click started. I was driving normally, as I previously took off my RE01-R's and slapped on my 400 treadwear econo tires.
I've gone through three right side axles in two days and seriously doubt I blew one axle and got two bad replacements. Oddly enough, it clicks going in a straight line (not turning) with light load, for example 3rd gear at 38mph, and 5th gear at 50-60mph. Any ideas?
Does anyone know if the transmission cases are interchangeable between 90-91 and 92-93? Found one for $100, so that's why I ask.
All contribution is appreciated
