let me start by saying expletive SNOW!

ok anyways on to my problem so i'm driving down the shitty road and all of a sudden my wheels jerks like crazy to the left like i really have to hold it straight or it'll go left. then i stop at a light and put it into 1st gear and now it doesnt move and it makes a whole bunch of thumping noises. then i come to realize ok my axle just popped out and i look at the drivers side to where it meets the hub and the whole boot is ripped and its just spinning my while car is idling. THEN i realize that i can shift into EVERY SINGLE GEAR w/o pushin in the clutch while the car is on. then i put it to 5th it says that i'm going like 25mph when im not even moving. why is it doing that did i also mess up my tranny somehow?

maybe its jjust a axle problem and if i put in new axles it'll fix.

you think there could be something wrong with my tranny as well?

sounds like just the axle.. just replace it

just put the new axle in, I had the same problem a couple years ago. I put the axle back together zip tie the boot and went home. Just go buy a new axle, what kind of car is it I might have one for you.
