Icon6 No VTEC on non VTEC engine

I recently bought a 1993 honda civic ex coupe. The original engine that was in the car was a d16z6, now it has a d15b8,(previous owner didn't change the oil and rod went through the block. Car runs and drives fine but, the problem i'm having is code 21 and 22 pop up on the mil light, which means a vtec valve and solenoid malfunction. Is there a way to delete the vtec sensors and get the mil light to go away?

there probably is but i wouldnt worry about those codes. you could always change the ECU to a non-vtec ECU and problem solved.
