Default slicks on oem rims?

finally bought a set of slicks after years of procrastinating, 24.5x8.5x15's.

anyone ever run them/that size on like an oem si or gsr wheel? ive had 225 bfg's on oem si's for a year and a half with no problems, and those are 8.8" wide. just trying to see if its comparable to running a slick on the same wheel.

Personally seen people run 9's with slicks on steelies..Is it ideal, no way, but it was effective enough.

they will work but like the last person said its def not ideal. most oems wheels are only 6.5 inches wide and wont get you a very nice contact patch for the tire.

sadly, i wouldnt have money for a nice set of racing wheels, got a mortgage now(stupid idea that was lol j/k).

is there a cheap set of 15" wheels that are 4x100, comparable centerbore and like 7" wide? maybe even steelies or oem wheels from a different car company?

i think diamond racing wheels makes a cheap 15inch wheel that would work fine with those slicks or even the spinwerks wheels arent that much.
