Default Vitara scat wristpin question

I'm trying to check clearances for my build. D16 vitara scat rods.

Are the wristpins supposes to be press in or floating?

These are definately press in. I bought to rods second hand so they might be the wrong rods. Pins definately float in the pistons.

I heated up the rods and froze the wristpins and that still didn't do it. I actually have one wristpin stuck 3/4 of the way in the rod now.

maybe you got some b18 rods there?

They are the same length as the d series, (5.394) , but a larger wrist length...

I'm just shocked no one could just spit out whether they're supposed to be press in or floating...

I'll measure them tonight and try to give scat a call.
