Help with wiring an Amp. in 00 Si.
I am trying to install a Subwoofer w/built-in amp in my 00 Civic Si with the stock radio.
I had this same sub/amp in my 96 Civic EX but it was hooked up to a Kenwwod deck. I installed it myself but the problem is that it was three years ago and I haven't installed any sort of stereo components since.
I am trying to hook the power control wire(I think that's what it's called), which is blue, from the amp into to the stock CD player but I have no idea what color the wire that goes into the radio is. I have tried to find color charts but since I am not sure what the wire is called I have had no luck. Does anybody know?
Also, I am looking for a place in the fire wall to run the power wire to the battery.
Does anyone know the location of a plug or something I could use for that?
Any other advice you could give me would be appreciated.
I can't believe I have forgotten how to do this stuff which was very easy for me just a few years ago.

I think your talking about the remote wire (not the power, not the ground, so its the "other" one..), in that case, try red/silver wire at harness.
As far as finding a hole through the wirewall, pull back some carpet near the passanger side floor mat, and see if you can find any rubber plugs, your best bet is to run it through this. (make sure to grommet if your removing the plug complelty).
