so im putting lowering springs on my integra, and to get the old spring off you compress the spring, and put an allen wrench in the top and loosen the bolt, but the allen hole stripped. what to i do? need help asap.
Use a vise grip to bite down on the strut to keep it from spinning. You need someone to hold it down when you are trying to loosen up the bolt.

Dont think you understand what he's saying. All the same, yes, pull the boot back and put some pliers/vice grips on the shaft. You can also remove it while its on the car....that is helpful as well. Impact gun also helps. Or you could just buy real coilovers or at minimum buy some cheap shocks to replace your old, crappy, blown stock ones. Then again, all you care about is a dumped ride, so it's cool.
