Default My radiator and fan, pics inside

I had a smaller fan before but now this fan is the SPAL fan. I can`t center it because the downpipe passes in front of the rad.
The section of the fan that is not on the rad, I`m planning to put a piece of plastic (like the crazy carpet plastic) so nothng goes flying in to the blades.
So what do you guys think? Is this ok? Any other suggestions?

Didn`t think of that one... If I go that route, all I have to do is reverse my wiring?

If you buy a pusher fan then it's already wired to rotate the correct direction... if you reverse wire a puller it will push but not as well as a designed pusher as the fan blades are not optimized. but it works...

Also pusher fans are not as affective or efficient... but they will probobly work fine.

i had to flip the blade and reverse the wiring when i converted my puller to a pusher. it was simple and took all of 5 minutes.

If you can pull the fan back 1/4 to 1/2" it would work fine with a properly made shroud. That would be much better than a pusher setup.

Mine is right at the edge of my radiator but the same idea would apply, just fill in where you were going to put the plastic.

You do not need to flip the blades. Period.

That's not true. Most fan blades are designed to spin one direction so you need to flip them over if the rotation is reversed. There are a few that you don't have to though. Period
