There was a meeting today in Orcutt, CA (by Santa Maria) in regards to building a track in Santa Maria. This has been going on for a couple of years now, and today, the contract was signed and stamped to open a 1/4 mile track, road course, and NASCAR track by mid next year!!!!

Santa Maria is our hometown, but unfortunately, we just moved our shop to Vegas last month.

 

Also, the elevation & weather is great for drag racing

 

oh that would be great!!! We need more racetracks in California.

 

I'll believe it when i see it...

just like the motorsports park we were suppose to have (roadcoarse, 1/4, gokart, dirtbike) in atwater...that never came to be even after years of planning and 'paperwork signed'.
