if you can make the drive to ct, i highly recommend www.mphfab.com i just had my 10 point done there 2 weeks ago. it came out great and the best part about it is i dropped it off on a monday morning and picked it up Thursday(the same week) plus its a one man show so the guy you deal with on the phone is the same guy who works on the car. here are a few pics.

and a colbalt he was building ....

miller is a douche ...but i have a car here that NRG did a cage in and i have to say, it is pretty damn nice -- the cage in my personal turbo car is one of the best i have seen imo and the NRG one in the EG hatch i have here they did definitely gives it a great run for its money

Just wondering guys, does the windshield have to come out to get the door bar going down into the little vent on the top side of a 93 civic just like in the pics up top ???

Can't see it really well in the pic but the door bar did go through the vent I'm assuming.

kinda, he gave me the option to have a hole cut in the dash or notch it so i can take the dash out easily, because its a track only car i chose to notch it.

http://www.gwperformancewelding.com/ - cheesy site, but the dude is solid.

he's in 609 and does fantastic work. tell him jared referred you.

also, http://profabracecars.com/ - another cheesy site, but these guys are good at chassis fab stuff.

i'd go to Glen at GW before using anyone else in the area.

otherwise, you'll have to travel up north/elsewhere.

Thanks for the info! I'm doing mine also but my guy said he'll have to take the windshield off to do the door bar through the vent. Could you post a better pic of the door bar with it the dash being notched so I can get some ideas without removing the glass.

There is no reason to take the windshield out and I dont think going through the heater vent is a good idea.

A good chassis guy can get it nice and tight so you just have to notch the dash. If you go through the dash vent you cant remove the dash and that sucks.

OP take a look at rota92's, my HOT ROD thread. Somewhere near the current end you'll see some nice shoots of Tom's and the guy's work as well as some of NRGtech's shop.

There may even be some pictures of the notched dash that Kalani Gohara in West Chester PA did with the first cage work in the car late 2004 early 2005.

I will take a pic when I get home. It's not through vent, but more close to the pillar. If your chassis guy can't figure it out without taking the windshield, you need a different chassis guy.
